Introducing MoRo… The four piece IndieSoul band from London released their debut album, Slow River, towards the end of last year. The record was written and produced by themselves with the help of engineer Mo Hausler (U2, Lily Allen) and mixer Adrian Hall (Alicia Keys, Sinead O'Connor).
Slow River, draws inspiration from old soul and motown, but it's a record that never loses the energy of a young rock-n-roll band enjoying their music. One of their songs, Thousand Suns, has been shortlisted for best Pop song in the International Songwriting Awards.
At the start of 2012 the band released One Camera One Take as a free live EP, the videos of which are above and on the video page. Currently the four boys are working on a follow-up EP, reflecting their slight change in sound influenced by their energetic live performances, with harder drums, dirtier guitars and soaring vocals.
